We are a separate tattoo studio. You will find us at 1707 Concord Pike in Wilmington, DE. Not a branch of another shop. Our own location. Our own team. Our own calendar. Been inked at the Trolley Square location before? Welcome back. Just know this is a different studio under the same family name.

How This Studio Got Started

Louis Sonnekus opened this spot in 2024. He had spent years tattooing on both coasts first. He wanted a studio built around one idea. Slow down, listen first, then ink. That idea still runs the place today. Every artist here works the same way. No rushed sketches. No pressure to book bigger than you want.

Who Owns Tainted Flesh Body Art North

What We Will Not Cut Corners On

Every needle and tube gets used once. Then it gets thrown out. Nothing gets reused after a wipe down. Anything used on more than one client runs through a real autoclave first. Every ink in the building is vegan safe. Nothing animal-derived goes into your skin without you knowing. This is not a slogan. It is just how the studio runs, every day, for every client.

The Artists Behind The Work

Three artists work here. All licensed. Louis Sonnekus owns the shop and leads on color and custom pieces. Sam Franzesea is our female tattoo artist. She is known for fine line and botanical work. We work with people from Concord Pike and Brandywine Hundred. Pike Creek too, and the rest of New Castle County. Some clients drive a while to get here. Most come back for their next piece. That says more about the work than anything we could write here.
